Enticing aromas of cedar and sandalwood lead to a rich, unctuous, concentrated core of Asian pear, hazelnut, fig and a hint of citrus. This broad-shouldered Chardonnay will benefit from short-term cellaring, as the finish is long, intense and layered. Best from 2007 through 2011. 2,676 cases made. –JL
