"Bright yellow-gold.  Enticing aromas of orange peel, lemon drop and iodine.  Lovely savory, high-pitched wine; rich but weightless, with flavors of crystallized citrus peel, spices and minerals, plus a whiff of creme brulee." - Stephen Tanzer

“Bright, pale yellow. Spicy aromas of pear, nutmeg and ginger. Then fatter, sweeter and lusher than the Hyde, with the roughly 14.7% alcohol standing out today owing to the wine’s impression of lower acidity..." -Stephen Tanzer

“Much more limited in production is the 2008 Chardonnay Hudson Vineyard. More tropical fruit and exoticism characterize this 2008 Chardonnay. Like its siblings, it is put through 100% malolactic and aged sur lie with indigenous yeast fermentation. With attractive tangerine and orange blossom notes as well, it is another very fine example of Chardonnay to drink over the next 2-3 years.” - Robert Parker

“From a well-known Carneros site, the 2006 Chardonnay Hudson Vineyard’s style is similar to theDutton Ranch, with notes of nectarines, orange blossom, and white currants, but less smoky hazelnuts. This is a medium to full-bodied, stylish, pure Chardonnay to enjoy over the next 3-4 years.” -Robert Parker
