“Hazy straw-yellow. Sexy toasty lees complement peach, hazelnut, spices and flowers on the rather Burgundian nose. Rich, ripe and smooth but with a firm edge of lemony acidity giving shape and thrust to the rather glyceral middle palate. Ultimately quite backward and in need of time in bottle; this struck me as a firmer version of the Hyde Vineyard bottling. Finishes with very good mineral lift.”

"Bright yellow.  Pure, subtle, very restrained nose; still a bit youthfully reduced.  Sweeter and more aromatic in the mouth than the nose would suggest, offering pliant, broad stone fruit flavors complemented by building toast and caramel notes.  An edge of acidity gives shape to this surprisingly open-knit wine." - Stephen Tanzer
