The 2001 Alder Springs - Mendocino Chardonnay is delicate with concentrated aromas of honeydew melon, floral notes, minerals and toasted hazelnuts. Assertive flavors of melon and pear lead into ripe & refreshing lime, floral and mineral notes with undertones of pear and butter. The finish is long, refreshing and creamy. It is a powerful, concentrated and thickly textured wine.
