Freestone Hill Vineyard

2007 Russian River Valley

< Back to all Pinot Noirs

From its lifted and beautifully concentrated red fruit liqueur aromatics of cherry and raspberry to its rich, juicy mouthfeel and mouthwatering acidity, this is not a shy wine. On the palate, it offers up additional layers of penetrating red fruit with an emphasis on framboise and ripe cherry, underscored by nuanced notes of fresh-picked herbs—think fennel, anise and tarragon—as well as an enticing hint of menthol. Dense but not tannic, this Pinot offers delightful transitions before concluding with a final vibrant burst of fruit.
