Jenkins Ranch
2008 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
This wine is intense, nervy and structured, with beautiful density, lots of flavor and sweet, balanced tannins that add poise. The aromas are layered and complex, highlighting cranberry, dusty cherry and dried strawberries, with nuances of mint, blueberry, sandalwood and French toast. On the palate, the red-fruit flavors continue and are underscored by a sweet, supple mid-palate and a cleansing acid finish. Our best Jenkins to date.
