Jenkins Ranch

2007 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

This is a supple and satisfying wine with an elegant texture that balances lushness with a certain demure quality. Walnut spice bread aromatics mingle with layers of clove, cinnamon spice and mulled cherry cider. On the palate, it is smooth and creamy, with an easy-drinking charm that highlights raspberry, cherry and pomegranate flavors, seamless tannins and a soft, lingering finish.

Accolades

  • 94 Points | "This is an amazing Pinot Noir. It showcases its classic vintage, yielding massive flavors of cherries and raspberries that are so rich and ripe, they approach liqueur. Yet the wine maintains a perfect balance of coastal acidity and fine tannins. Gorgeously oaked and smoky, it’s a beauty now, and should slide through the next 4-5 years." - Steve Heimoff
