2010 Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir
The 2010 vintage has produced a lower alcohol, higher acid expression of Pisoni Pinot Noir that is fresh and vibrant, while still displaying the almost otherworldly power and depth that has made this wine famous. There is an elegance that belies the big, dense aromatics of raspberry framboise, cherry, hard candy, clove and cinnamon. On the palate, a streak of acidity adds brightness and verve, as well as complexity to Pisoni’s voluptuous red fruit.
