The 2002 Pisoni Vineyard Pinot Noir is a dark, ruby red color with deep aromas of blackberry, cherry pie, beet-root, licorice and nutmeg. The flavors are ripe blackberry and cassis with a distinctive smoky/mocha element. This is a rich, full bodied wine with lots of supple textures and plenty of tannin for aging. A thick, creamy mouth-feel with ripe tannins and toasty/cassis flavors complete its long-lasting finish.
