2017 Dutton Ranch Chardonnay, Russian River Valley
Aromas of ginger, guava and crème brûlée with toasted almond, and toffee-brown sugar. Dense, and full bodied, there’s a pleasingly crisp and mouth watering green apple note on the palate that melds with dried apricot, tangerine flavors along with a hint of toasted oak.

2016 Hyde Vineyard Chardonnay, Carneros
The 2016 vintage shows classic characters of delicate white flowers, honey, orange peel and toasted almond. A slight whisper of faraway camp fire accents the fresh green apple and butter cookie notes in the mouth. This wine is at once delicate, powerful, elusive and evocative.

2016 Moses-Hall Vineyard Pinot Noir, Carneros
Aromas of mulled spiced cherry, five-spice powder, moist fresh earth and hard roasted nutty toffee. Dense and rich, this slightly rustic wine is the single vineyard Pinot needing the most time before drinking. 2016 shows less tannin and more spice than most years, making the drinking window a bit earlier than typical.

2017 Gap’s Crown Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast
This vineyard sits high on a rock strewn, windswept hill directly overlooking the Petaluma Gap, the coastal mountain feature that feeds the cool Pacific air into the Russian River basin. Usually the last vineyard we pick each year, and often the most tannic of our wines, the 2017 offering has a softer, less tannic and more resolved composition. Intense aromas of black cherry, citrus peel, dark cocoa along with hints of mushroom-forest floor intermingle and intertwine. Gap’s Crown Vineyard is a very longlived wine that rewards patient cellaring for many years to come.
