Russian River Valley
2020 Little Boot Vineyard Pinot Noir
This young vineyard, planted in 2012, is improving every year as it enters “adolescence.” The 2020 shows energetic aromas of raspberry, dried rose petal, ginger, pomegranate, and Redwood Forest floor. Generously ripe, supple smooth tannins are shot through with mouthwatering acidic streaks. Echoes of black cherry and orange peel nestle amongst sweet fine-grained textures that expand across the palate, gaining depth and persistence. Juicy and unctuous, the flavors keep pumping to a long and supple finish.
